Meaningful encounters with employers

Involvement with employers can inspire young people to think about their future career options and set the expectations for how to get there. We take part in a number of initiatives to bring together young people and employers to highlight the roles and opportunities available in key industry sectors across the region. Annual examples include Bradford Manufacturing Week and Leeds Manufacturing Festival. We also co-ordinate work experience and employer encounters through our aspire2work study programme and Accelerate programme.

Progression opportunities and support for those at risk of NEET

We offer a range of tailored programmes to better suit the needs of those who need a more personalised and practical learning environment. If you have students at your educational establishment who would benefit from a more non-traditional approach to learning following their GCSEs, we offer a study programme which provides the hand on approach they might need to continue their education. We also run a programme for those at risk of becoming NEET, to ensure they continue in training and progress into a meaningful career. We also have experts on hand for working with young people who have additional needs and can provide a tailored service for those with an EHCP.
